The 80s were certainly different times. Hair was bigger, cartoons were way more violent, and toys were gross! Gross out toys and monster toys had arguably their biggest heyday in during what we are going to refer to as the gross out renaissance, which occurred for much of the late 80s and early 90s and saw a number of fantastically disgusting toys like My Pet Monster, Madballs, and Creepy Crawlers! That said, few of them ever quite hit the mark quite as perfectly as the horrific creations known as Boglins!

Originally produced by Mattel in 1987, Boglins were a collectible series of stretchy rubber puppets designed to look like terrifying creatures you wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alleyway! After a long break from the public eye, Boglins are making their come back this year thanks to a new licensing deal with Seven Towns and Clutter magazine! This time around the Boglins are coming at us in limited run batches, so they look like they’re bound to be the next hot thing on the collectors market!

The first Boglin in this new generation has been dubbed Glork! He’s sized to be around the same height and length as the original line, with a height of 6.5″ tall and a full length of 10″! He certainly looks like he will fit right in with his classic Boglin brethren.  Check out the full release from Clutter below:
