Fans of X-23 are thrilled to see that she’ll be showing up in ‘Logan‘ and a new teaser image has possibly given the best look of Dafne Keen as the character to date! While she doesn’t have her own claws popped and this isn’t the violent or conflicted X-23 that we’ve come to know for Laura, she does look quite stunning in this picture. With a hint of shadow over his face, I suspect that this is teasing the darker side of her personality that the Weapon X program has likely already instilled in her.
Here, let’s take a quick look:
This image is from the Weapon-X Instagram account, because what shadowy government agency that is responsible for the likes of say Wolverine and Deadpool wouldn’t have one, and shows off Laura. Now, in the comics, she is a clone of Wolverine that also has claws and a healing factor but we’re unclear at this point if in the movie she’ll be a clone or her own character that gets saved by Logan.
I think the one complaint that we all have is that if we do love the character as much as Jackman’s Wolverine, we’ll be unlikely to see more of her in the immediate future as this is a timeline where most of our heroes are dead and set in the future. Of course, introducing a time travelling Cable in ‘Deadpool 2‘ could potentially change all of that.
