We are now within 60 days of the premiere of the hotly-anticipated next film in the Star Wars saga, ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.’ As the public-relations machine gears up into full throttle, we will undoubtedly be seeing more TV commercials, print ads, and more.
Now, we’ve been given a slew of new posters for each major character in the story. These posters feature most of the main players from the Rebellion – and a poster of Empire baddie Director Krennic, an interesting addition to the group of otherwise freedom-fighting characters – with a green tech-style overlay on their faces, likely to indicate the main focal point of the plot: the stolen plans for the construction of the Death Star.
Take a peek at the posters in the gallery below, and click on the images to view them in their full-sized poster glory!
In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
The posters features the characters of Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn), Chirrut Îmwe (Donnie Yen), K-2SO (Alan Tudyk), Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed), with Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen) and Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker).
‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ will be in US theaters debuting on December 16, 2016.
Tony Schaab firmly believes that a viewing of ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’ should be a mandatory bi-weekly experience – and that a re-read-through of the original 7 manga volumes of the story should occupy every off week.
