Last year the Force was awakened with a new ‘Star Wars’ film and now the first of the standalone anthology films will make its debut in December. Ever since its announcement, ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ has received a lot of interest by fans as it will be going back in time to just before movie goers were first introduced to Princess Leia and her plea for help. With the film almost here and to get fans geared up and excited for its release, Disney and Lucasfilm has released a new trailer!

As you can see, this movie will have a very different tone than what we are used to from the main ‘Star Wars’ film and gives a lot more of the plot than the past trilers. Here, we get a glimpse of Jyn Erso’s (Felicity Jones) past, the origins of the title, and some intense battle scenes.
Set just before ‘A New Hope’, ‘Rogue One’ tells the story of Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) and her team of Rebel operatives as they attempt to steal the plans to the Death Star for the Alliance. (And if you are a ‘Star Wars’ fan, you already know how that turns out.) The film is more grounded and grittier which sets it apart from the other main films in the franchise.
Not everything in the film will be different, however.The music gives a nostalgic feel as well as the appearances of some familiar characters and sights, the biggest excitement of all is the return of the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader.
