The second video game to film adaptation is coming this December and we’ve got new images of ‘Assassin’s Creed‘ to share with you! While ‘Warcraft’ tanked domestically at the box office it was a solid hit in China and one has to wonder if ‘Assassin’s Creed’ might suffer the same reception. Counting against it is the botched release of ‘Warcraft’ stateside and the fact that it only comes out a week after ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’, but counting for it is giving us a rich video game world on the big screen and a relatively empty end of year release schedule outside of ‘Star Wars’.
If nothing else, these images once again look spectacular and promise us a stunning world when the film debuts this December.
You can check out the new looks at the film below. However, I must warn you that it is primarily Michael Fassbender is various poses and no straight forward action shots though a few look as if they are directly out of action sequences.
Again these look visually great, I just hope that the next trailer for the film can do a better job than the first one at selling it to audiences.
Which of these new shots of ‘Assassin’s Creed’ were your favorite? Do you plan on checking out the film when it comes out this December? Share your thoughts below!
Assassin’s Creed follows a character by the name of Callum Lynch who, through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, is able to experience the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Knights Templar organization in the present day.
‘Assassin’s Creed’ will be sneaking into theaters just in time for Christmas on December 21st, 2016.
