It’s a Super Lady team-up as Lynda Carter joins the cast of ‘Supergirl’ to play the President of the United States.  Of course, Carter is immortal for playing ‘Wonder Woman’ for three seasons in the 1970s.  Unfortunately, scheduling conflicts prevented Carter from appearing in next year’s big screen ‘Wonder Woman’ movie, but old school DC fans should still get a kick out of seeing Carter on a new DC show.  She previously guest appeared on ‘Smallville’ playing Chloe’s mother.

‘Supergirl’ herself, Melissa Benoist posted an image of these Maids of Might on the set:

In addition, the second season of the super hero hit has added a number of new faces, including Tyler Hoechlin as Superman/Clark Kent, Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Ian Gomez as journalist Snapper Carr, Floriana Lima as Science Police Captain Maggie Sawyer and Chris Wood as Mon-El, the mysterious inhabitant of the pod that Kara discovered last year.

‘Supergirl’ will also be participating in a line-wide crossover event with ‘The Flash’, ‘Arrow’ and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ and will also have a stand-alone musical crossover with ‘The Flash’.
