With The CW nabbing ‘Supergirl’ from CBS to add to their DC Television Universe, it only makes sense that we’ll be seeing more crossovers between the shows so why not bring everyone together? When I’m saying everyone, I mean it as it sounds like The CW is planning an ultimate crossover event which will bring the heroes from ‘Arrow’, ‘The Flash’, ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’, and ‘Supergirl all into the same team up! Greg Berlanti co-created ‘Supergirl’ and since he is the mind behind The CW’s superhero shows it only makes sense that he would already have a plan to bring his heroes even closer together.

In fact, the idea that it can happen is a reality as CW’s head honcho Mark Pedowitz has confirmed that the shows will be coming together for a huge event! Though he was pretty vague on any details past the planned crossover.

During a conference call, Pedowitz has stated: “our annual crossover event this fall [will] be the biggest one ever.” The event is set to air this December though no other details have been revealed at this time. We’re still in the dark if it will be all of the heroes showing up in just a couple of shows or will actually span across each series on the network.

How amazing would a four episode crossover event be! ‘Supergirl’ always felt as if she would have made a better part of The CW’s universe off the bat and probably would have had better ratings if it had been.

Are you looking forward to a huge superhero slugfest? Do you think the event will be based on anything previously in comics or a new plot made specifically for television? Share your thoughts below!
