Sony Pictures has just revealed that they are gearing up to release a horror film by James Gunn this November. While they haven’t released the title of the film at this point, the studio has an Untitled James Gunn Horror Movie on their release schedule for November 30th, 2018 through Screen Gems. It isn’t clear when Gunn shot the film, though, if it is this close to release, chances are we were going to be getting a trailer already had it not been for the all of the drama swirling around the creator.

Right before Walt Disney Studios fired James Gunn which ended his San Diego Comic-Con 2018 appearances, the director released a single tweet which has fueled a ton of speculation that you can see here:

There was a lot of rumors that Gunn was going to make an announcement for either the manga ‘Berserk’ or the PlayStation 4 game ‘Bloodborne’ though this symbol really looks closer to something straight out of ‘Nameless’ which you can see here:

For those unfamiliar with the title by Grant Morrison and Chris Burnham, it is described as:

“An astronomer kills his family, then himself, leaving a cryptic warning. A Veiled Lady hunts her victims through human nightmares. An occult hustler known only as ‘Nameless’ is recruited by a consortium of billionaire futurists for a desperate mission. And the malevolent asteroid Xibalba spins closer on a collision course with Earth. But nothing is what it seems—a terrifying inhuman experiment is about to begin. Abandon all hope and experience ultimate horror in NAMELESS.”

This seems to fit both the look of horror which we did in ‘Slither’ when he was younger and involves some intense psychological thrills as well.

Will you be open to seeing a horror movie by James Gunn? Do you think this could be the rumored ‘Berserk’, ‘Bloodborne’, of ‘Nameless’? Share your thoughts below!
