Get ready to do the Time Warp again! This fall, FOX is set to air a special two-hour presentation of ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ directed by ‘High School Musical’ mastermind Kenny Ortega, starring Victoria Justice as Janet Weiss, Ryan McCartan as Brad Majors, Adam Lambert as Eddie, Reeve Carney as Riff Raff, Annaleigh Ashford as Columbia, Christina Milian as Magenta, Ben Vereen as Doctor Everett von Scott, Staz Nair as Rocky Horror and ‘Orange Is The New Black’ star Laverne Cox as Doctor Frank-N-Furter, the show’s main character, a mad scientist. Also part of the cast is the original film’s Frank-N-Furter Tim Curry as the Criminologist Narrator.
Just days ago, we got our first look at most of the cast in a series of photographs, which you can see here.
FOX has now released a brief new teaser trailer giving us a glimpse of the cast in action. There are only a few snippets of dialogue but we do get to hear a tiny bit of the movie’s most famous song ‘The Time Warp’.

FOX has not yet scheduled an air date for ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ but naturally, it would make sense to schedule it some time around Halloween.
The original movie premiered in theaters in 1975 and even though it’s… well, kinda terrible, it developed a cult following and began screening at midnight with audience members inventing various interactions to the movie, from squirting water guns to running around the theater. It has not stopped showing in theaters since it came out!
Unfortunately, we still have several months before this version arrives, but maybe that will just make us all shiver with antici…
…pation.
