With The Incredible Hulk having flown off into the sunset at the end of ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron‘ it almost seemed hopeful that he might weigh in on ‘Captain America: Civil War‘ but as we all know by now he isn’t making an appearance and this latest image hints at why. Okay, it isn’t the strongest of hints but seems to make it clear that this rampaging behemoth hasn’t just been in hiding from audiences but the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the whole. It doesn’t really give us much as we learned in the original ‘The Avengers’ film that unless you’re Nick Fury or part of S.H.I.E.L.D., Bruce Banner has a knack for hiding. Still, as we’ve heard rumblings that The Hulk will be showing up in ‘Thor: Ragnarok‘ it seems likely that he has found a way off world.

So how is the government looking for Hulk? That isn’t clear but according to this news release what is clear is that they aren’t finding him.

For those unfamiliar with WHIH Newsfront, it is a fake news program that exists in the Marvel Cinematic Universe which has an active website and social media feeds. The star of the news program is Christine Everhart who was in the first two ‘Iron Man’ films which Marvel uses in promotion for current and upcoming films.

While we know that Banner won’t be in the film, it seems highly unlikely that we won’t see at least references to The Hulk if possibly not some footage itself of The Other Guy. Early reports don’t have him showing up in any of the confrontations between our heroes so if he does show up you can expect him to have a minor role that might just explain why he isn’t involved or how he gets put on track to have an intergalactic adventure.
