We all know that Kit Harington would be back for the sixth season of ‘Game of Thrones‘ and he’s opened up a little about what we can expect his role in the upcoming season to be. Usually this where I say that this is going to be entering spoiler territory so you might want to head back now. However, it also sounds like fans might not be happy with the direction they are taking Jon Snow so if you’d like to be prepared for what is to come you should probably stick around.

I know, we’re giving you a hard decision to make on a Monday.

Let’s admit it, when it comes to Jon Snow and his future role in the series almost anyone is going to be reading onward to find out what is happening. You can’t help but wonder if Kit Harington truly knows nothing about the future of ‘Game of Thrones’ or is misleading the audience on purpose. Either way, it shouldn’t take us long to find out as the end of the month marks the return of the best fantasy on the television!

So, with the entire cast and crew chiming in that Jon Snow is dead at this point, Harington confirms that by saying:

“I was there for a little bit, I was there for about a month or two months, it was spread over a bit and I was playing a corpse. . . .I won’t tell you how many episodes I’m lying dead but it’s enough that I was out there for quite a while. It’s going to be so satisfying when you see it and you realize that I was telling the truth the whole time.”

The question becomes does he stay as a corpse or play that he is alive again in the future as we all know that there is a witch on site who is known for returning the dead to the lands of the living. I would almost suspect they find a way to drag his sequence out through the season and at the very end have her perform her magic and we end the season with Snow opening his eyes to come back for the seventh season.

What are your thoughts on Jon Snow being dead? Will this be the last season that Kit Harington is on the show or will he be making a comeback down the line? Are they letting us know the truth of what happened to lower expectations of a return or just playing with our emotions? Share your thoughts below!
