It’s finally here! Grant Gustin, the star of The CW’s hit series ‘The Flash’ will be streaking onto CBS’ freshman hit ‘Supergirl’ this coming Monday. The episode is entitled ‘World’s Finest’ and is described as:
“Kara gains a new ally when the lightning-fast superhero The Flash (Grant Gustin) suddenly appears from an alternate universe and helps Kara battle Siobhan, aka Silver Banshee, and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home.”
Now you can catch a quick peak of Gustin in action alongside Melissa Benoist as Supergirl and the rest of her supporting cast:
If you missed it earlier, you can watch a short promo trailer and view images from the episode here.
The Flash will be teaming up with Supergirl to battle Silver Banshee played by Italia Ricci and Livewire portrayed by Britt Morgan.
Melissa Benoist said, regarding the crossover:
“It is the most joyous occasion to have these two superheroes together in the same place, at the same time, working together. They are both so happy with their powers and what they get to do and how they get to help people, that it’s kind of infectious and exciting and upbeat and happy.”
It’s not Supergirl’s first team-up however, as she has a close companion in the Martian Manhunter, masquerading as Hank Henshaw played by David Harewood.
But this will be her first, and hopefully not last, brush with the blossoming DC TV Universe over on The CW. Could an encounter with ‘Arrow’ be far behind?
‘Supergirl’ airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on CBS; ‘The Flash’ airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW. Their crossover airs on ‘Supergirl’ on Monday, March 28.
