Since taking over the ‘Marvel Legends’ brand a few years back, Hasbro has really taken things to the next level in terms of high quality sculpts, in demand characters, massive articulation, and even multiple scales for people to collect! While both the 6″ scale and 3.74″ scale have plenty of fans, Hasbro is starting to thing a bit bigger with Marvel Legends… literally.
This week at New York Toy Fair 2016, Hasbro revealed plans for an all new 12″ scale line of Marvel Legends figures! That’s right, you’ll soon be able to collect 1:6 scale versions of your favorite Marvel characters at the super affordable price of just $50 a figure! While $50 might sound like a lot off the bat, when you realize many 1:6 scale figures are $250+ on average, Hasbro’s price point seems almost unreasonably cheap!
So far the only figures confirmed for this new line are Captain America and Iron Man, but wow do they look great! Besides highly detailed sculpts and loads of articulation, figures from this series are set to include a ton of accessories like alternative hands and heads, removable masks and helmets, and character specific pieces like captain America’s Shield or Iron Man’s repulsor effects!
