If you’ve been scouring the toy aisles over the last year or so, you’ve undoubtedly seen the ReAction figure line from Super7 and Funko as it quickly took the market by storm! The ReAction line is a series of figures based on various licensed brands and properties, stylized to look like they were made in the golden era of collectibles, the 1980s! These great figures mirror the look of the original ‘Star Wars’ line from Kenner, and they’ve certainly got a special charm to them that makes them near irresistible! While Super7 teamed with Funko to bring the ReAction line to the mass retail market, they’ve slowly but surely begun to relaunch the brand on their own through their online store at Super7HQ.com, bringing quite a few fun new pieces that can’t be found anywhere else!

This year at New York Toy Fair 2016, Super7 was on the scene to show off some of their fantastic new brands that will be joining the ReAction line in 2016! Here’s the full rundown…

We first got a hint at this line when Super7 released a box set of ‘unpainted prototypes’ as a convention exclusive, but here’s a full look at the upcoming ‘Masters Of The Universe’ ReAction line! It’s really exciting to see these characters that were already original retro styled figures themselves completely redesigned and rebranded as an entirely different type of retro figure! This set consists of He-Man, Skeletor, Beast-Man, and Mer-Man! These figures are already up for pre-order now!

Aside from these new ‘Masters Of The Universe’ ReAction figures, Super7 also revealed several other new licensed brands like ‘Hellboy’, ‘Street Fighter II’, and ‘Megaman’! These lines only had mock-up cards and a few images of unpainted on site at Toy Fair, so there has not been much indication as to when we can expect these to be released.

If you’ve been following the ReAction brand since it’s initial launch, then you’ll know that the flagship license for this brand was the ‘ALIEN’ film franchise! Super7 is heading back to the well on this one to give us at least one new piece of ‘ALIEN’ ReAction merchandise in the form of a carry-case for all of your ‘ALIEN’ ReAction collectibles!

Finally, it looks like the multi-license line of ‘M.O.T.U.S.C.L.E.’ is going to be mass produced in plastic containers to give fans of either line something new and fun to collect! The ‘M.O.T.U.S.C.L.E.’ line combines both the ‘Masters Of The Universe’ and ‘M.U.S.C.L.E.’ brands to create a hybrid line featuring ‘M.U.S.C.L.E.’ styled ‘Masters Of The Universe’ figures!

While many of these figures are still a way off, it’s nice to see some new brands hitting the ReAction line! It looks like the mass retail side of it is slowing down, so hopefully this line will continue for a long time on the collectors market! Be sure to stay tuned to ScienceFiction.com all this week for all of the latest news coming out of New York Toy Fair 2016!
