Ryan Reynolds and the minds behind ‘Deadpool’ are gifting fans with a plethora of treats as we head toward Christmas. Yesterday, Reynolds tweeted a video of himself sitting in his own character’s lap. (You can do the same. Deadpool Santa cardboard cut outs should be available in the lobbies of theaters around the country.) Today, the actor tweeted another short video clip which pays homage to a classic Christmas flick ‘Home Alone’. He even invokes the tag line ‘Ya Filthy Animals’. The clip shows Deadpool examining his master plans and those involve a Kevin McAllister-esque array which includes a blazing hot door knob (which unlike Kevin’s also delivers a nut punch), dirty medical waste, cannons, Kimodo dragons, a Wolverine-esque Honey Badger, a flamethrower and a literal boobie trap. (Okay, so they’re not exactly Hot Wheels, jacks and a hot glue gun.)
Here is the video that Reynolds posted:

Well, it certainly looks as if this fortress is secure!
So far, the 12 Days of Deadpool have delivered a racy new poster, yesterday’s meta funny clip and now this. What on Earth could be in store for the remaining nine days?
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, ‘Deadpool’ tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
‘Deadpool’ directed by Tim Miller and starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Gina Carano, and Ed Skrein hits theaters on February 12, 2016.
