Are you ready to see the trailer for the newest film from the mind of J.K. Rowling, ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’?  Well, you’re in luck!  Because a new video has been released… that tells you when the announcement trailer will be out!

Okay, so this is a teaser for a teaser for a trailer.  Yes, it’s come to that.  Go ahead and watch this short clip:

So, on December 15, the world will witness an “announcement trailer” which is presumably a fancy way of saying “teaser” for the ACTUAL trailer, which is coming sometime after that, presumably in theaters attached to ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ because, why the hell not?  Every other movie is jockeying to be the opening act for that headliner.

Are Potterphiles SO excited for another helping of Rowling magic that they’re scheduling the time to tune in for a teaser to a trailer?  Well, if so here are the exact times when the announcement trailer will be streamed via worldwide satellite:

If it helps, Warner Brothers has also released some new information regarding the film, including this brand new synopsis:

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures.  Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

Academy Award-winner Eddie Redmayne stars as Newt Scamander, a magizoologist who embarks on an adventure in the previously unexplored realm of the Potterverse’s United States, where he encounters a new cast of both fellow magicians and No-Majes.

The film is directed by David Yates, who made the last four ‘Harry Potter’ movies and the screenplay is the first ever by Rowling herself.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” stars Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne (“The Theory of Everything”), Katherine Waterston (“Steve Jobs,” “Inherent Vice”) as Tina; Tony Award winner  (“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”) as Jacob; Alison Sudol (“Dig,” “Transparent”) as Tina’s sister, Queenie; Ezra Miller (“Trainwreck”) as Credence; two-time Oscar nominee Samantha Morton (“In America,” “Sweet and Lowdown”) as Mary Lou; Oscar winner Jon Voight (“Coming Home,” TV’s “Ray Donovan”) as Henry Shaw, Sr.; Ron Perlman (the “Hellboy” films) as Gnarlack; Carmen Ejogo (“Selma”) as Seraphina; Jenn Murray (“Brooklyn”) as Chastity; young newcomer Faith Wood-Blagrove as Modesty; and Colin Farrell (“True Detective”) as Percival Graves.

‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’ will be released in 3D and IMAX on November 18, 2016.
