While I am truly excited about ‘The X-Files‘ revival it sounds as if some of the new agents being introduced could be used to start a new chapter in the book about the ultimate alien conspiracy. Chris Carter and Fox would clearly love to see the revival take the world by storm in the way the first series did and while David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson don’t have the open time they once did to do a full ongoing series they could be used to introduce these new agents who will continue the torch.

In the series we will be introduced to Agent Miller who is played by Robbie Amell (‘The Flash’,’The Tomorrow People’) and Agent Einstein played by Lauren Ambrose (‘Six Feet Under’,’Can’t Hardly Wait’).The will be alongside the return of Mulder, Scully, Skinner, and the Smoking Man. At one point there was aninterest in a spin-off following these two which never happened though now it seems that they could still be part of the plan moving forward. It seems that thoughted of the planned spin-off was never actually cancelled but only put on hold depending how they resonate with audiences.

A smart idea may be not invest in these two agents if we end up not liking them or can only imagine Mulder and Scully investigating The X-Files. I mean, we all remember what happened the last time the two stars were no longer the focus of the show. Still, a continuation in the series if we had a solid set of actors taking over might be able to work as long as they did it right as well as including ways to have cameos from all of the legacy actors who are still alive on the series.

Would you be willing to give a spin-off to ‘The X-Files’ a try or is it too early to even think about it? Share your thoughts below!
