News has been light on Duncan Jones‘ ‘Warcraft‘ but we’ve got three new character shots from the film that show off Robert Kazinsky’s (‘Pacific Rim‘,’EastEnders’) Orgrim Doomhammer, Travis Fimmel’s (‘Vikings’,’The Baytown Outlaws’) Anduin Lothar, and Toby Kebbel’s (‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes‘,’Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time’) Durotan. These three new shots released in Empire Magazine (via Buzz Hub) and regardless of how the plot ends up we can tell that at least visually it should be something worth seeing.

Personally I just can’t wait until we see the first official trailer which drops this Friday November 6th!

In the first shot we have Auduin who is Dominic Cooper’s King Llane Wrynn’s right hand. Not only does it look likt he fight he is in will be high stressful but it almost seems that something is coming down from the sky. A load from a catapult? Arrows? Or something even worse?

Next up is Durotan who is the leader of the Orc clan and will be the one most opposed to Wrynn.

Finally we have Ogrim who is second in command under Durotan and if lore from the video games is followed we know that he will have a much bigger part to play later in the film or in a sequel.

In the film we’ll see that the Orc Horde has come to Azeroth through a portal to escape the chaos of their own world. Neither species of human or Orc can be dubbed good or bad on the whole and factions on both sides will be thought of as heroes or villains.

Are you looking forward to checking out ‘Warcraft’ or does even the thought of a video game to film adaptation have you squirming ot avoid it? Which of the three shots above is your favorite? Share your thoughts on the film below!

Synopsis:

The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.

So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.

‘Warcraft’ will hit the big screens on June 10th, 2016!
