I’m sure that you’re well aware of what your true love gave to you on the first day of Christmas because holiday tunes have been plaguing the radio airwaves since Halloween. But this year, thanks to the fine folks at Marvel and 20th Century Fox, there’s a new nondenominational holiday for everyone to enjoy, even if you got all hot and bothered over a red coffee cup.

Tis the season to be jolly and True Believers know that few in the Marvel Universe are as jolly as Deadpool. The Merc With A Mouth will star in his own feature film in February, but since it’s the season of giving, the studio has put together the 12 Days of ‘Deadpool’ for fans all over the world to enjoy over the holidays. Ryan Reynolds donned the iconic red suit (but not the one with a white beard usually seen at malls) to share the details about where to find Wade Wilson’s goodies over the next two weeks in this new video:

Shortly after the announcement was made, Entertainment Weekly dropped their contribution to #12DaysOfDeadpool. Check out the latest poster for the movie below, followed by the official synopsis of the film:

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, ‘Deadpool’ tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Now that we’ve seen Deadpool’s little friend, what do you think is in store for the rest of the 12 Days of ‘Deadpool’? Are you excited for the new trailer? Sound off in the comments below and stay tuned right here at ScienceFiction.com for the latest on our new favorite holiday.

‘Deadpool’ starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Gina Carano, and Ed Skrein hits theaters on February 12, 2016.
