When people work on a film or television shoot, it’s fairly common to see others take things from set. Usually it’s something small like a random prop or a piece of a costume. For example, Jenna Coleman revealed that she took Clara Oswald’s TARDIS key on her last day on ‘Doctor Who’ earlier this year. Although, some people manage to get away with taking much larger things like actual set pieces and stuff like that. That seems to be the case for when Ryan Reynolds decided to take home a souvenir from ‘Deadpool.’

While speaking to MSN about the highly anticipated ‘X-Men’ spinoff starring the Merc With A Mouth, Reynolds revealed that he took a piece of Wade Wilson with him after shooting wrapped. Now many would assume that he took a gun or a mask or even a sword. Well, that may be a correct assumption, but it’s not a complete one because he took an entire suit:

“I loved wearing it and I have run away with one. I’ll probably get into trouble for saying that, but I’ve waited 10 years to do this movie, so I’m leaving with a f***ing suit.”

It’s definitely not a surprise that the actor loved wearing his Deadpool suit. Not only has he been going to bat for this film to be made ever since ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ bastardized the character, but the second he got into costume, it almost seemed like nobody could get him out of it. From the very first picture on the bearskin rug to the rating announcement featuring Mario Lopez, Reynolds was clearly having a blast. Since he has one in his possession now, I fully expect more wild antics from him as Deadpool in the future. At the very least, he needs to show up at the film’s premiere or next year’s San Diego Comic-Con in costume. Just imagine how great he’d be at either of those events in full Deadpool gear. Plus, I’m sure that he’d get tired of messing with Blake Lively eventually, so he’d have to take the bit out into the world. The hilarious possibilities are endless!

What sort of antics do you hope Ryan Reynolds gets in now that he has his costume from ‘Deadpool’ in his closet? Fantasize away in the comment section.

‘Deadpool’ starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Gina Carano, and Ed Skrein hits theaters on February 12, 2016.
