Yes, Ezra Miller is playing Barry Allen/The Flash in DC’s cinematic universe, but it has not been officially confirmed whether or not he will make his debut in ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ although there certainly have been rumors to that effect.  Now a tweet from a Twitter account called DCEU Feed seems to have the inside scoop from Miller himself, confirming an appearance in next summer’s blockbuster team-up.  Not only does the tweet confirm his appearance but spills some intriguing new details… provided they are true.

First up, the message reads “Barry Allen’s hair will be kept long for BVS.”  Presumably what that really means is that Miller’s famous long locks will be kept long, because Barry Allen’s has never depicted as being long in the comics.  The classic illustrations of the character give him a 50s buzz cut and that didn’t change much over the years, even during the late 60s and 70s when longer hair on men became the norm.

And of course TV’s ‘Flash’ Grant Gustin has shorter hair as well.  Miller however is known for his long rock star-esque coif, but recently cut it off.  It appears that his scenes in ‘Batman V Superman’ will show him with his longer-haired look.

Skipping ahead, the third statement is “Ezra also hinted he’s going to have a ripped physique rather than bulky.”  That makes sense.  The Flash is a runner and is typically drawn with a suitably lean form.  And to go along with Miller’s shaggy hair, he seems to have a lithe rocker bod.  Don’t expect a Chris Evans or Chris Pratt bulk up.

The second message is the least specific, but reads “His ‘Flash’ suit has a post-apocalyptic look to it.”  That could mean nearly anything.  Is it charred and blown to shreds?  Or sleek and futuristic?  Heaven forbid, let’s hope it isn’t anything like a Containment Suit.

Here is the original tweet, which includes a recent pic of Miller with shorter hair:

Take this with a grain of salt.  No, there’s nothing especially spoiler-y, but the information hasn’t been confirmed by anyone in authority.
