After hearing about it for about a year, fans will finally get to see the alternate cut of Bryan Singer’s ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’. Dubbed ‘The Rogue Cut’, a subplot featuring Anna Paquin’s Rogue has been reinserted into last year’s Marvel mutant blockbuster to bring one of the film franchise’s original players back into the fray. And now ahead of it’s July 14th release, the first clips and stills from the movie have hit the web to promote the release.

First, Entertainment Weekly debuted a sneak peek at Shawn Ashmore’s Iceman joining forces with Ian McKellen’s Magneto as they attempt to save Rogue from the scientists conducting tests on her inside Cerebro:

Following the events of that clip, USA Today has another video showing the team fleeing from some of the brand new and highly intimidating Sentinels:

Finally, Comic Book Movie posted a photo from Bobby Drake’s daring escape as he helps his long-time friend to safety. You can check that below, followed by the official synopsis of the film:

With a never-before-seen, alternate cut of the film—plus nearly 90 minutes of all-new, immersive special features, the ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past – Rogue Cut’ takes you deeper into the X-Men universe than ever before. Rogue makes her return as the all-star characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves and unite to battle armies of murderous Sentinel robots who are hunting down mutants and humans alike!
