‘Suicide Squad’ has been filming for months now, with fans snapping many photos and video clips of the cast and crew in action on the streets of Toronto, but new revelations continue to trickle out, such as the recent reveal that Common would be playing Tattooed Man.  There are still a few known cast members whose roles haven’t been revealed, like pinup stud du jour Scott Eastwood and ‘True Blood’ alum Jim Parrack.

Director David Ayers, who, unlike other directors of big budget franchise films like these, has remained heavily active on social media.  His latest post on Twitter teases yet another revelation, but… what?  First, check out his tweet:

This silhouetted figure is clearly toting a huge rifle, which is nothing unusual.  Nearly half the characters in the cast photo above are doing the same.  The ‘Suicide Squad’ is a paramilitary unit not a typical gathering of super villains bent on acquiring riches and conquering the world.  As a result, the team usually bypasses the ultra powerful rogues of the DC Universe and tends to stick with more grounded characters like (Captain) Boomerang (Jai Courtney) and Deadshot (Will Smith).  Of course, some do have powers like El Diablo (Jay Hernandez), Tattooed Man (Common) and the monstrous Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje).

So who is this mystery figure?  Well, there would be no need for secrecy if this were an already revealed actor/character like Deadshot or Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman).

There was earlier buzz that Parrack might be playing DC heavy weight Deathstroke the Terminator.  Parrack himself stoked these rumors by posting images of the ruthless mercenary on his social media accounts.

But now the latest word is that Parrack will actually be portraying a much less high-profile character, Jonny Frost, a mobster who becomes one of The Joker’s henchmen.  The character is a relatively new and minor introduction, appearing only in Brian Azzarello’s 2008 ‘The Joker’ graphic novel.  (You can guess why this was his only appearance.)

But there would be no reason for Jonny Frost to appear decked out in full military regalia.  So is someone else playing Deathstroke?  Or is this a completely different character?
