Throughout the course of their existence, Michaelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael have had their fair share of allies. When we last saw them in ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’, the latest incarnation of the heroes in a half shell fought alongside Master Splinter and April O’Neil. In the upcoming sequel ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell,’ our heroes will team up with Stephen Amell’s hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones. But as we can see in the latest videos from the New York City set, the sports club-wielding master of stealth won’t be the only one standing side by side with the turtles.

Thanks to various fans with their cell phones handy while on location in NYC, we have a behind the scenes look at a scene being shot involving the Ninja Turtles and the New York Police Department. From what we can gather from the videos, the NYPD call in the TMNT (who arrive via a mobile police command center) to aid in dealing with a threat that they can’t handle on their own. When they get to the crime scene filled with startled New Yorkers, the cops with riot shields form a protective wall to get the turtles into the action safely. Check out the scene from a number of different angles in the clips below:
