It’s never too early to start planning your trip to the movies, even if the movie doesn’t come out until the end of the summer. At least that’s what 20th Century Fox and MovieTickets.com think because thanks to their latest advertisement, you can get a new look at their upcoming ‘Fantastic Four’ reboot.
Fans have recently been learning more and more about the latest reincarnation of Marvel’s First Family on the big screen. A new trailer dropped about a month ago where we got our first glimpse at Toby Kebbell’s Doctor Doom. Then, a series of new photos and bios were released to profile Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm. But now we can see their heroic sides in action as their superpowers are spotlighted in a new commercial for MovieTickets.com. FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
Despite rumors that Josh Trank’s film might not be up to par, at least we can say that everyone’s powers seem to be fine after looking at this footage. Since she wasn’t featured as heavily as the others, I’m a little curious about the Invisible Woman’s powers because she can do a lot of crazy things with her force fields and such. But otherwise, the Human Torch, the Thing, and Mister Fantastic are pretty much what any True Believer would expect, at least in the powers department.
