While not listed in the initial casting, a sly Mark Ruffalo might be implying that we’ll see The Hulk showing up in ‘Captain America: Civil War.’ As he and Thor are the two not set to return in this unofficial Avengers, film it might be interesting to see if The Other Guy could end up popping up after all.

All this speculation comes from a tweet from Ruffalo. Of course, it could just mean that he really is welcoming newcomers Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo, and Martin Freeman as a mystery character to the cast., but with how up to date he is on current events on Twitter and this being a full week after the casting announcement, it almost seems rather out of place to be tweeting it so late.

So does this imply that by joining the cast he’s made it bigger or is he welcoming the actors who signed on into the Marvel Cinematic Universe a little late to the party? With the casting having William Hurt making an appearance as General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, it seems as if there might be a Hulk tie-in right there. Of course that could just be to reference the destruction that he unwittingly caused in ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron‘ and not some new damage as featured in the film.

What do you think fellow True Believers, was this a hint at things to come or just a belated welcome of new faces to the party? Share your thoughts below!
