We’ve just learned that when ‘Interstellar‘ is released on November 7th that it will be Christopher Nolan’s longest film to date.  Nolan has had some hits on his hands in the past, but his closure to the Batman trilogy didn’t strike positive chords with fans and was previously his longest film. ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ clocked in at 165 minutes long whereas it now looks as if ‘Interstellar’ will take the prize with a 169 minute run time.

That is going to be a long film! Hopefully it is as interesting as the previews have looked or I am not going to be a happy camper walking out of the theater.

Still, I have hope it’ll be a win and we’ve got some new visuals to share with you as well! Six new screens from the film to be exact which were included in Empire’s iPad edition of this month’s issue and are showing off some of the other astronauts from the film. You know, the stars that aren’t Matthew McConaughey or Anne Hathaway who have been plastered across most of the previews to date.

Ranging from rather tame to some beautiful shots, I really can’t wait to see more of the film as teasers are released. We know the general plot of the movie but there is still so much more to learn about it.

Synopsis:

With our time on Earth coming to an end, a team of explorers undertakes the most important mission in human history; traveling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars.
