There hasn’t been a lot of details released so far on Chris Nolan’s upcoming science fiction blockbuster ‘Interstellar,’ but today we’ve got a few new screenshots from the movie for you. The first teaser for the movie caught our attention but it was the recent trailer that really grabbed it and wouldn’t let go! As we don’t much about the film past humanity is running out of resources and has found a wormhole that may lead us to another world to restart fresh, I’m happy to share with you a quote from John Lithgow (‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes‘, ‘Dexter‘) who is in the film.

“It’s a thrilling interaction between grand spectacle and intimate, intense relationships. More so than many films of this genre, Chris found a way to make fantastic drama out of cosmic ideas and current human anxieties.

So that’s a great way to get us excited without really saying much at all! Thanks Lithgow!

For the two screenshots that are going to be in the Fall Movie Preview issue from Entertainment weekly, we have first a shot of Anne Hathaway in the movie.

Yes, it may be a little boring but it’s something. Now for a more fun shot we have a look at Matthew McConaughey in an astronaut suit. I’m really shocked with how he has gone to an actor I’ve had no interest in to loving his work in ‘Mud,’,’True Detectives,’ and ‘Dallas Buyers Club.’ I’m really looking forward to seeing his work on this film! Seems to be a name you would think Marvel would have popping up for a character or say if they hadn’t already cast Gambit for the X-Men franchise.

So the new pictures didn’t give anything new away aside that we know the actors will touch down on alien planets. The quote from Lithgow also didn’t illuminate too much while still making it sound intriguing.
