The fifth season of ‘The Walking Dead‘ is right around the corner and this trailer is going to make you want it to be October 12th this weekend! The first episode of the upcoming season is titled “Hunt or be Hunted” and you’ll get an idea why from the trailer below. Sadly, there isn’t much new footage in this trailer but with still over a month to go, they probably won’t be handing out any large clips until closer to the season’s premiere.
Most of this trailer is more of the same with what will happen between Rick’s survivors and those who live in Terminus, a father and son moment between Rick and Carl, and there is a stand out fight scene as well. We get a few of the walkers which were recently shown off in the set of 20 new stills released for the show, Michonne going into full on attack mode, and some kind of a major walker explosion that I would love to see what causes it! I have a feeling our friends in the military may somehow be involved.

I was kind of hoping we might see a bit of an extended look at Father Gabriel in the trailer but I suppose that he won’t be popping up in the first couple of episodes so I shouldn’t hold my breath.
