Well, if there were anyone whose opinion mattered most when it came to a Michael Bay movie starring Megan Fox, it has to be Vanilla Ice, right?  The Caucasian rapper-turned-reality TV star provided the theme song to the second live action ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ movie, “Ninja Rap” which featured the chorus “Go ninja, go ninja go!” and can be heard in the latest Kraft Macaroni & Cheese commercial.

You can check out his theme song below:

Unfortunately, Vanilla isn’t a fan of the theme song from the new movie by Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla $ign.  The new song is entitled “Shell Shocked” and is clearly aimed at a younger generation. But here’s what Vanilla had to say about it:

“With respect to all of the artists, the song doesn’t really do it for me. It feels a little artificial—what I mean by that is that it sounds like a bunch of executives in the corporate world put it together. It really does not fit the theme of the Ninja Turtles legend. I think you have to understand, and be a true Ninja, to possess the Magic to really pull off the secret sound.”

Ummmm… okaaaaay.  “True ninja,” huh?  “Possess the magic”, huh?  Is that code for sequined Hammer pants?

At any rate, you can check out the video for the new single “Shell Shocked” below:

Well, what do you think?  Does Vanilla Ice trump Juicy J and friends?  Or is it time to move on?
