In the first two clips for the next season of ‘Sleepy Hollow,’ it was teased that the Headless Horseman would return and the new trailer confirms it! Not only is he back, but it looks like he is on the loose. Somehow I suspect that my thoughts on the first clips are right and they just didn’t take enough precautions on keeping him locked up after bringing him back into the land of the living.
While it’s clear that the second season is going to hit the ground running, I’m enjoying the fact that all of the preview videos that they’ve shared with us so far have the show following the same tone that made the first season so enjoyable! While the first two clips really gave a much better job at showing Icabod and Abbie’s interactions with one another, there is a quick shot that seems perfectly fitting for more of her introducing him to the quirks of today’s society.
Not only are we having the Horsemen of both Death and War returning so far, but it looks like we’ll be getting some new enemies as well.
Personally I think any show that brings us more of John Noble is a good thing. While we can’t have new shots of him as Walter from ‘Fringe,’ the creepy turn of events they’ve given with him works perfectly on ‘Sleepy Hollow.’ I’m curious what the sword he’s delivering will end up being used for and if that is the flaming sword shown in the preview.
Also zombie looking warriors from the past and Ichabod doing a fist bump? Count me in!
