The latest trailer for ‘The Maze Runner‘ might seem familiar if you had watched the first advertisement that the studio had released. The reason being is that they are mostly the same, however, the latest trailer includes a voice over that does a much better job at introducing you to the world that they’ve created for the film!

A fun bonus which hints that this will be entertaining to watch is that the script for the movie is by Noah Oppenheim who was almost instantly picked up to scribe ‘Allegiant: Part 1‘ (the third film in the ‘Divergent’ franchise) after news of the film started to spread. Fans of the young adult genre probably should take note of this writer if he’s being tapped for so many high profile projects. This kind of an immediate pickup usually means that this amount of interest in a writer is due to talent. While not always the case, this trailer looks amazing so I want to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Speaking of the trailer, you can check it out below!

The footage for ‘The Maze Runner’ looks pretty amazing and I have to say that for a young adult novel, I like how they are straying into different territory where we’re also getting these robotic type of creatures included. It’s a nice bit of added science fiction that hasn’t been overly done quite yet.
