As many do at San Diego Comic-Con, ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. made sure to bring out some massive announcements. When they took the stage alongside ‘Agent Carter’, Agent Phil Coulson and the whole crew had a bunch to share with all the true believers who made it out to their panel.

Executive producers Jeph Loeb, Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen, and Jeffrey Bell were joined by cast members Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Iain de Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, and Brett Dalton (wearing a HYDRA shirt) as they shared some exciting new details about the upcoming season of ABC’s first live-action show set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Before festivities got under way, a video was shown featuring Patton Oswalt, who reprised his guest starring role of Agent Billy Koenig. Besides getting some housekeeping matters out of the way, the fan favorite actor revealed that Barbra Morse would be appearing in season two of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’. In the comics, Bobbi is a field agent with the codename Mockingbird that has a storied history with Hawkeye, including marriage. We don’t know how much of this mythology will carry over or if Clint Barton will be paying Coulson a visit sometime soon, but we do have the video courtesy of Entertainment Weekly:

In addition to this epic news about Mockingbird (and the multiple Koenigs), The Wrap tells us that the panelist confirmed that Lucy Lawless would be joining the show as veteran S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Isabelle Hartley, who is said to be a fan of bladed weapons and a foil for Director Phil Coulson. Joining her will be English actor Nick Blood as Lance Hunter, a mercenary (potentially from the UK equivalent of S.H.I.E.L.D. called S.T.R.I.K.E.) who aids the team, and Reed Diamond as Daniel Whitehall, a legendary agent of HYDRA known as the Kraken.
