The latest featurette of Marvel’s upcoming ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘ finally focuses on showing off the rocky relationship between Gamora and Nebula. With the first prelude comic to the film heavily featuring Karen Gillan‘s take on Nebula competing with Zoe Saldana’s Gamora, it is good to see that some of this will actually be shown off in the film and not just tacked on as an afterthought.

So while we’ve seen a few shots of Nebula before, this is the first time that I can recall seeing her speak on screen. Not only that, but we also get a brief shot of Thanos hanging out on his floating throne. So that is a bonus for those of us wanting to see more of the Mad Titan on film!

So if I wasn’t already sold, I would be now. Did you enjoy finally seeing the feud between Gamora and Nebula on screen? Happy to see more of anything with Thanos? Share your thoughts below true believers!

Synopsis:

From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team — the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits — Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand — with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ starring Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace, Karen Gillan, Benicio Del Toro, and Michael Rooker blasts off on August 1st, 2014.
