Fans can finally look forward to what Duncan Jones’ ‘Warcraft’ film is going to look like as the first piece of photography from the movie have now been released! Honestly only one of them could be counted as a set photo but it does show that the movie is underway! With what will be most likely one of the most expensive video game to movies be ever made, I’m sure we all want to see a little more of what it will end up looking like.

Honestly, it’s kind of surprising that we’ve gone this long without anything coming from the set as filming started in January of this year in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. That is actually a pretty good length of time for not being able to see any early visuals so they must have this locked down pretty tightly. We’ve heard of actors joining the film and even some concept art on how they want some of the scenery to look like but really nothing from  the production itself.

The first release is actually from the 300th issue of Empire Magazine which contains an article on the film. Obviously the photo doesn’t show much but lets take a quick look.

So that is Duncan Jones and he is watching some of the actors on monitors. On the screens you can just make out what looks to be a couple of actors standing at attention with a knight hanging out to the left. Not much going on here quite yet.

A tease? Absolutely. What are your thoughts on what very little we can see from the first set shot of the film? Do you wish there was more so we could get an actual idea of what it would look like? Excited for a film taking place in the realm of Azeroth? Share your thoughts below!

Set to star Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, Rob Kazinsky, Dominic Cooper, Daniel Wu, Clancy Brown, Warcraft will open in 2D and 3D theaters on March 11, 2016.
