Now that ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ is in theaters, all eyes are looking towards Marvel’s next film ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘. While normally fans would have to wait about a month before a movie’s release date to start seeing clips, Marvel has allowed this quick bit to come quite a bit early.
Thanks to MTV, we have the first extended look of Star Lord (Chris Pratt) as he channels his Indiana Jones side and attempts to steal a glowing orb before getting caught. The clip is basically an extended look at what we’ve seen in the trailer that was released back in February. Regardless, we are still excited and can’t wait to see the Marvel Cinematic Universe launch into the cosmos!

Directed by James Gunn, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista, Michael Rooker, ee Pace, Djimon Hounsou, Karen Gillan, Benicio del Toro, John C. Reilly and Glenn Close and will be in theaters on August 1, 2014.
