We haven’t been hearing too much about Guillermo del Toro’s ‘The Strain‘ recently but thanks to South by Southwest (SXSW) we have some new shots from the show! Thanks to Yahoo, we have images featuring Corey Stoll, Mia Maestro, Sean Astin, and David Bradley which give us a look of the characters and a bit of the sets behind them.
First up we have a shot of Corey Stoll who is the central character of the show playing Dr. Ephraim Goodweather.
Next up we have Mia Maestro stars who plays Dr. Nora Martinez.
After we have a scene with Sean Astin who looks a bit strange with glasses as Jim Kent. I swear I can only ever picture him as a hobbit.
Finally we have David Bradley who stars as Professor Abraham Setrakian.
Still no good look at the vampires but at least we’re getting a feel for what the characters are going to be looking like. Tell me though, what do you think of the latest promo pictures? If you’ve read the books is this how you expect the characters to look?
Synopsis:
