While Season 2 has really upped the ante when it comes to villains for Oliver Queen (with the League of Assassins and the Suicide Squad both being thrown into the mix) there’s one more villain we’re going to be seeing more of : The Clock King. However, it’s not Arrow which he’ll be mainly facing off against.

In ‘Time of Death’, Robert Knepper (‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1‘, ‘The Day the Earth Stood Still’) will be stepping into the role of the villain William Tockman (aka The Clock King) who is primarily known for tangling with Batman. Not only do we have a clip from the episode to share with you but also a Producer’s Preview with ‘Arrow’s executive producer Marc Guggenheim explaining how Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) will be further thrown off her game by the Clock King – it’s bad enough she’s already been knocked off the loop with Sara Lance returning from the dead as Black Canary and the secret Moira was trying to keep.

First up is the clip from the episode ‘Time of Death’:

The Clock King has showed up previously on television in both the classic 60s ‘Batman’ show as well as in ‘Batman: The Animated Series’. In the comics though he’s no stranger to the Green Arrow as they had battled before he joinedthe Injustice League and later the Suicide Squad. As we’re going to seeing the Suicide Squad pop up in the near future, I wonder if we’ll be seeing The Clock King join them as well? While we know he isn’t on the initial roster, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him make an apperance down the line.

Meanwhile check out the official Producer’s Preview on how the latest villain will be more Felecity’s enemy than anyone else’s:

Are you excited for the appearance of The Clock King? Do you think an influx of more primarily Batman villains could lead to other Gotham based crossovers down the line with the likes of Nighthawk or possibly even the Caped Crusader himself? Share your thoughts below!
