Last week, it was confirmed that we would be seeing Ben Kingsley reprising his role as Trevor Slattery from ‘Iron Man 3’ in the newest Marvel One-Shot titled ‘All Hail The King‘. The short that will appear on the ‘Thor: The Dark World’ Blu-ray will catch up with the delusional actor in Seagate Prison as he sits down with a reporter who is looking to get to the bottom of one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most controversial figures. Previously, we got our first look at the short thanks to some stills, but now you can get an extended sneak peek of the film before it comes out next month thanks to a brand new clip.

Marvel.com has recently released a clip containing the first minute of ‘All Hail The King’ where we are introduced to the curious reporter played by ‘Argo’ star Scoot McNairy as he prepares to sit with Trevor for the final time at the prison. After you press play on the video below, take note of the 60s-70s thriller feel of the short, especially when it comes to the title card:

‘All Hail The King’ writer and director Drew Pearce (who also co-wrote ‘Iron Man 3’) has hinted at the involvement of the Ten Rings terrorist organization popping up to raise a little hell for Trevor because they are none too happy about him making a mockery of them and their cause. Rumor has it that the REAL Mandarin might show up as well, but we’ll have to wait until February 25th to find out if that really is the case.

Until then, what do you think of the first clip from Marvel’s upcoming One-Shot, ‘All Hail The King’? Are you excited to see Sir Ben Kingsley bring Trevor Slattery back for one more go? And based on what we know so far, do you have any theories about where this short could possible lead? Let us know in the comment section!
