‘Entertainment Tonight’ scored an exclusive visit to the set of ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ and recorded some really impressive footage including lots of explosions and interviews with the cast– namely principles Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz (who plays his daughter) and soon-to-be hearthrob Jack Reynor (who plays said daughter’s boyfriend)– as well as director, Michael Bay.
The footage also shows off two of the featured Autobots, Stinger (a Pagani) and a slightly redesigned Bumblebee.
This set visit was obviously a few months ago, as shooting in Detroit ended a while back and the production actually moved over to China to wrap up its filming. But the segment was obviously delayed in order to air more closely to the film’s actual release, June 27, 2014.
You can watch the entire segment below:
As a bonus, check out these images from the movie, including the main Autobots in a location that is clearly neither Detroit nor China:
The movie also stars Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, T.J. Miller, Han Geng and Titus Welliver.
What do you think? Are you excited to see a relaunch of this franchise? Especially since the Dinobots might be involved? Comment below!
