Last week, Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s costumed crime-fighter alter, Kick-Ass, launched a recruitment drive for the superhero team Justice Forever, and now two more videos have surfaced featuring Doctor Gravity (Donald Faison), Insect Man (Robert Emms) and Battle Guy (Clark Duke) calling out to regular folks like them to join the team. “Find your identity with us” is their slogan and it’s a good one at that.
The viral vids are pretty cute, but Doctor Gravity could have put in a little more umph in his body shot with his Zero G Device, don’t you think?
When you sign up to be part of the Justice Forever team on the We are Justice Forever website, you can sign up for a chance to win prizes which include getting some swag, cash and a trip to San Diego to be a guest at an exclusive party with the ‘Kick-Ass 2’ cast during Comic Con. As the date of the movie’s release draws nearer, the site will then be updated with movie news and promotional materials.
If Jim Carrey’s Twitter rant about ‘Kick-Ass 2’ has made you a little hesitant to see the film, maybe another look at the trailer will convince you that this tongue in cheek movie is worth a watch. Granted, those not familiar with the ‘Kick-Ass’ or ‘Hit Girl’ comics may be a little taken aback at the amount of kick ass action that is involved, but that’s rather the whole point of the movie, right?
‘Kick-Ass 2’ hits theaters on August 16th.
