We’ve seen pictures of Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson on the set of ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ where their characters Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff are teaming up, but not like this. Things look to be getting hot in Cleveland between the two Avengers, who were recently spotted at the Tower City Center locking lips for a scene.

According to Comic Book Movie, the scene involved Evans, Johansson, and Frank Grillo, who is playing the assassin Crossbones. But you wouldn’t know about Grillo’s involvement in the scene as the pictures focus on the two incognito heroes. The report says that they are using the kiss to hide from their pursuer, so it’s unclear if a romantic relationship will bloom in the film, but those of you fans who are into that pairing can hold out, dream, and check out the photos in the gallery below:

If you look closely at the Sentinel of Liberty in one of the last pictures, he has a pretty wide smile on his face at the bottom of the escalator. I mean, I would too if I had just had a kissing scene with ScarJo. Chris Evans is one lucky man in my book!

And while it’s possible that a romance could emerge from this, don’t think it’s coming out of nowhere. There have been times when Steve and Natasha have paired up. In fact, in one continuity they have a kid together. However, I’ve always been partial to the Widow’s relationship with Bucky during Ed Brubaker’s stint with the characters. And as for Cap, he likes to keep it in the family as he gets involved with Peggy Carter’s niece, Sharon, at some point, possibly even in this movie.
