Social inequality is the main theme of Neill Blomkamp’s second film ‘Elysium’ and it’s never been more stressed than in this new trailer for the film.

While the first trailer was exciting enough, this theatrical one gives us more incredible action sequences, a little more about the plot and the harsh dichotomy between those on Earth and those living in splendor in the clouds on Elysium.

Ever since Blomkamp’s directorial debut with ‘District 9,’ the writer/director has been on the must watch list in the industry. From the looks of this trailer, he certainly is not suffering from the sophomore slump as ‘Elysium’ looks to have all the components of a true science fiction film.

With his life hanging in  the balance, he reluctantly takes on a dangerous mission – one that pits him  against Elysium’s Secretary Delacourt (Jodie Foster) and her hard-line forces –  but if he succeeds, he could save not only his own life, but millions of people  on Earth as well.
