By now, X-Men fans should know that if there’s one place to look for the latest updates on the upcoming film ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’, it’s the personal Twitter of Bryan Singer. Before any reporters of photographers could get exclusive shots from the set, the returning X-director beats them all to the punch. Previously, we’ve seen first looks at Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart, among other things, but seeing as filming has not wrapped just yet, it’s safe to assume that we’re just at the beginning of these intimate looks into the production.

Recently, Singer tweeted that he was working with a returning star from Matthew Vaughn’s ‘X-Men: First Class’. Along with the tweet came a picture of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence in all her blue glory as she was shown in costume as she reprises her role as Mystique. You can see that picture below:

Then, the director shared a picture of himself working with a newcomer to the franchise. On what appears to be a personal jet, Singer is shown with ‘Game of Thrones’ star Peter Dinklage as they go over the script on their way back to the set in Canada. That photo follows along with the embedded tweet below:

Currently, the details of the Emmy-winning actor’s role are being held behind closed doors and tight lips, but we do know that Dinklage will be playing a villain. If Bleeding Cool is to be believed, the hefty mustache that he is sporting right now may confirm that he’ll be playing Bolivar Trask, the mastermind of the massive mutant-hunting machines known as Sentinels. This is purely speculation right now, but Trask does have some very recognizable facial hair, so it’s not completely out of the question. Of course, there’s still the theory that Tyrion Lannister could be playing Alpha Flight member Puck, but I don’t put too much stock in that one.

Are you glad to see the lovely Jennifer Lawrence back on set as Raven Darkhölme? Who do you think Peter Dinklage will end up playing when the lights dim in the theaters for this next installment in the X-Men film franchise? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
