Hollywood is currently all about ‘Game of Thrones’ right now. The acclaimed HBO fantasy show is finally slated to return in a little more than a week, but the show had it’s Los Angeles premiere earlier this week. But while many have Westeros on their minds, when it comes to Tyrion Lannister actor Peter Dinklage, there’s another question that we have on our minds: Who is he playing in ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’?

While on the red carpet for the premiere, MTV Geek had the opportunity to chat with Dinklage briefly about how dark things get for Tyrion in season three, but before he was pulled away, the reporter asked about the possibility of the actor playing Bolivar Trask, the inventor of the Sentinels, in Bryan Singer’s latest X-Men film. Though he doesn’t say much about it, maybe his reaction in the video below gives away the answer:

Even if it’s true that he hasn’t received the script yet, it’s highly unlikely that he signed on to the film without knowing who he would be playing. Since the actor is supposedly playing an antagonist in the film and the Sentinels are playing a big role in the unfolding events of the plot, I’d say that Trask is a pretty good guess. With production starting very soon, we might get our answer sooner rather than later, unless Singer is planning a ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ level veil of secrecy.

What do you think about Peter Dinklage playing Bolivar Trask? Do you think his reaction to the question gave him away? Or do you think that his character is someone that none of us see coming at all? Let us know what you’re thinking in the comments below.

‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ hits theaters on July 18, 2014.
