If more filmmakers were like Bryan Singer, I think that the paparazzi would be out of a job. Before they could snag any awesome photos from the set of his new movie ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’, the fast-handed director gets his shots up on his Twitter account before anyone can even grab a camera. And now he’s at it again, but this time instead of wheelchairs, hallways, or Cerebro, we get a sneak peek at one of the film’s stars.

Recently, Singer posted the following tweet with our first look at Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde AKA Shadowcat. Her attire’s definitely evolved from the pink and black jumpsuit from ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’. Check out just how much below:

In the original ‘Days of Future Past’ comic book storyline from 1981, Kitty plays an integral part in the story as she is the one who travels back in time to warn the X-Men of the past that they need to stop a horrific event from happening so that mutants don’t end up extremely prosecuted and in prison camps. Previously, Mark Millar noted that fans of the hero will not be disappointed, and based on the actress’ rise since the last time she rolled with Xavier’s gang, it’s likely that Ellen Page’s role will be expanded this time around. At the very least, she’ll definitely be more prominently featured than the last time.

What do you think about Kitty Pryde’s new look in ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’? Do you think Bryan Singer will keep the character in the forefront of the story just as she was in the comic? Share your thoughts in the comments.
