As promised,  BBC has released a short “prequel” for the upcoming ‘Doctor Who’ episode ‘The Bellls of Saint John’.

While it seems to be a prologue of sorts, the video finds the Doctor (Matt Smith) at a park a bit downhearted as he still has yet to find Clara since the losing her in ‘The Snowmen.’

Obviously, there’s more to Clara Oswald than meets the eye and watching the rest of the season to find out who she is will obviously be as entertaining as finding the answer to “Doctor…who?”

In a recent interview, producer Marcus Wilson has said  “It’s a riddle that won’t easily be cracked. I defy anybody to guess it. Steven Moffat has found a way to lead everybody down the garden path and then knock them over with surprise at the end.” That’s a challenge if I’ve ever heard one!

More clues to who Clara is and the return of the Doctor’s adventures will begin next week when ‘Doctor Who’ returns to BBC America with the first of 8 episodes!

And just in case you need a refresher, here’s the synopsis for ‘The Bells of Saint John’:

The Doctor’s search for Clara Oswald brings him to modern day London, where humanity lives in a wi-fi soup. But something dangerous is lurking in the signals, picking off minds and imprisoning them. As Clara becomes the target of this insidious menace, the Doctor races to save her and the world from an ancient enemy.

‘Doctor Who’ airs Saturdays at 8pm beginning March 30 on BBC America.
