BBC and BBC America is pulling out all the stops for the return of ‘Doctor Who’! There’s lots of ‘Doctor Who’ news to be had and the first is this clip from the first episode of the second half of the season ‘The Bells of Saint John.’

Obviously, the Doctor has found Clara since losing her in ‘The Snowmen’ and they are off on their first adventure surprisingly not in the past, or in the future or on an alien planet. ‘The Bells of Saint John’ takes place in contemporary London.

Here’s a synopsis of the episode:

The Doctor’s search for Clara Oswald brings him to modern day London, where Wi-Fi is everywhere. Humanity lives in a Wi-Fi soup. But something dangerous is lurking in the signals, picking off minds and imprisoning them. As Clara becomes the target of this insidious menace, the Doctor races to save her and the world from an ancient enemy.

As usual, the episode will provide the frantic action and quick quips we’ve come to know from the series. And similar to the trailers released before, in the clip below we hear the Doctor exclaim: I’m the Doctor, I’m an alien from outer space. I’m 1,000 years old, I’ve got two hearts, and I can’t fly a plane! Can you?!”

So get ready for a fantastic ride as there’s only 12 more days until the return of ‘Doctor Who!’
