‘Bates Motel’ isn’t slated to air on A&E until next month but the network has released this new promo showing Norman and his mother tying to start their lives over in the little town of White Pine Bay.

Unlike the past teasers, the promo has a lot more footage from the series and is a lot less creepy but it still manages to get your attention. The concept alone is enough to have viewers tune in.

‘Bates Motel’ is a contemporary prequel  of sorts created by Carlton Cuse, the same man who created ‘Lost’ and follows the exploits of Norman Bates and his mother , Norma, as they move into a motel they bought on the outskirts of a coastal town after the tragic death of the family’s patriarch. The series will not only give an intimate portrayal of how Norman’s psyche unravels under the influence of Norma, but also sheds light on the idyllic town that’s not so idyllic.

‘Bates Motel’ bypassed the pilot process and went straight to series with 10 episodes encompassing the first season.

Check out the new promo below and let us know if you’ll be tuning in!

‘Bates Motel’ will air Mondays, beginning March 18, at 10PM ET/PT on A&E.
