There have been many rumors about the next entry in the Fallout franchise, including whether or not Bethesda is even working on it, but the latest news has made fans go crazy.

Voice actor Erik Todd Dellums, known for his Fallout 3 as Three Dog, Radio DJ for Galaxy News, released the following Tweet earlier today:

The Tweet clearly hints at a new Fallout title, and while many Twitter users were skeptical of the information, it was confirmed later that Dellums had been given permission to release the tease. No other information has been given, however, though recent rumors have suggested that Bethesda has been doing on-location research in and around Boston.

The Fallout series gained a lot of popularity when the series moved to a first-person RPG style back in 2008 with the release of Fallout 3. The game won several Game of the Year awards, and spawned a sequel, Fallout: New Vegas, in 2010.

ScienceFiciton will have more updates as they come.
